Born and raised in Big Sandy, TX, Bro. Harper has faithfully served as a deacon for many years, continually offering wisdom and steadfast leadership wherever it is required. His enduring work ethic, having worked from a young boy to the man he is today, is an example of what good character and morals can do for any situation.
Bro. Harper is now retired, celebrating life with his wife, Wanda Ruth Harper, and children Lakesha, Nicklaus, and Jason (deceased). He worked for Exxon Mobil Corp for over 39 years. He can often be found tinkering and restoring vintage and classic cars whenever he allows himself to slow down a little.
