Giving to our local community
Our mission at Lyles Street Church of Christ is to give our time and resources generously. Jesus said when we give to our neighbor, we are giving to Him. Below, you’ll find information on our current ministry that meets the needs of our community.
Praying Hands Ministry
Our Praying Hands Ministry supports Big Sandy, Texas, Upshur, Wood, and surrounding counties with clothing, food, prayer, and giving hope during times of
crisis. We focus on individuals and families facing challenges by offering true care
with both spiritual guidance and physical needs.
Clothing Assistance
Assisting in organizing, preparing, and distributing clothing for our local community.
Food Support
Offering support and resources for food distribution in shelters and pantries, helping those who are hungry to be fed, regardless of financial hardships.
Outreach & Crisis Support
We provide bible studies, a helping hand with groceries, and support during times of crisis. We seek to uplift and encourage those during job loss, house fires, and family emergencies.
Volunteers are Welcome
